Lincoln is located in southeastern New

Mexico, near Ruidoso. 


  • 50 miles NW of Roswell 15 miles east of Capitan on U.S. 380 (Take Hwy 70 west.  At Hondo, exit Hwy 70 to Hwy 380 and continue 10 miles).
  • From Capitan, NM, continue east on Hwy 380 for approx. 12 miles.

  •  Located in Historic Lincoln, New Mexico, the Lincoln Gallery of Art opened in 2017.  The Gallery is located in the historic Luna-Chavez House (across from the Lincoln Historic Site Visitors' Center) and includes work for sale including originals & archival giclees by Tiffanie Owen as well as other Lincoln County artists and photographers.   The majority of the gallery shows works inspired by the Lincoln County War and Billy the Kid (these works are part of Lincoln Historic Site's exhibit and not for sale).  Artists represented in this exhibit include Maurice Turetsky, Peter Rogers, Walter Henn, Carl Hantman, K. Gunnor Petersen and others.
